The listing does not include POS software. While the unit boots to an OS, the POS software has been removed by the previous customer. The listing does not include an AC adapter. It requires a 24V 3-pin DIN adapter to power on. We powered this unit on a compatible AC adapter. The machine booted up to the windows XP screen. The touch screen seems to be working fine and we were able to navigate windows without any problems. After light testing we are confident that this machine is in good working condition. We did not test the card reader but can see no reason that it shouldn't be working. We will not accommodate any such requests.
